Raw Food Diet: Does It Work?
Even the most unscientific of us know that foods lose most of their vitamins when they are cooked. Raw foods therefore, retain all of the excellent vitamins and nutrients and a raw food diet will allow your body to access and utilize all the benefits of the food you eat.

The first choice of raw foods is simple and easy, and many of us already eat them: fruits and vegetables. raw fish, such as sashimi or ceviche, sprouted breads or tortilla wraps and cold soups made by blending your favorite vegetables make wonderful and satisfying dinners. If you are careful to use fresh, organically raised beef, you can add even more protein to your diet by making steak tartar (sometimes called filet americain), a mixture of raw chopped beef, onions and capers.
Snacks and drinks:
if you are watching your weight, you probably already have carrot chunks or celery sticks for a snack. Add to those refreshing smoothies made from fresh fruit, power packed drinks made from juiced vegetables, and you can even have alcoholic drinks. Organic wines and beers are so flavorful and refreshing you won’t be as tempted to overindulge as you would with nutrition less sweet cocktails.
