Queenax - New Queen of the Fitness Regime

If you’ve not heard of Queenax, you’re not alone - yet it’s an up-and-coming craze designed for keep fit enthusiasts of all ages.

It’s the latest exercise regime to hit the headlines, aimed at transporting adults back to their fun-loving childhood.
It involves monkey bars, trapeze swings and just about anything you’d find in a traditional kids’ adventure playground…and if it can tempt them away from the TV or XBox towards a healthier lifestyle, it can help the grown-ups too.
Queenax is - quite simply - child’s play, with a nod to wooden climbing frames and those carefree days gone by.

Demanding, Dynamic - and Designed to Appeal to the Child in Us All
It’s demanding, dynamic….and designed to get your core muscles back to work in a series of movements packed into a 20 or 30-minute session for those, perhaps, who are still kids at heart.

It’s all about exercising parts of the body that might have been overlooked of late, putting them to work in not too-demanding ways known as functional training.

It’s getting back to basics for the challenges of real life, a series of effective exercises all based around removing the stresses and strains of day-to-day living - with an element of free-spirited childhood abandon thrown into the equation.

It’s not for those seeking to build up stamina for endurance training or gruelling ironman events - but is, quite simply, about keeping in trim in a low-key, fun-filled manner.

Anti-Gravity Training Gives a Whole Body Workout
Based around the Queenax Training System, the concept really is reminiscent of a playground climbing frame, with multi-functional equipment that needs very little space to be effective - with swinging, hanging and suspending yourself in mid air very much part of ‘anti-gravity’ training in a multi-faceted, whole body workout.
No matter what your fitness level, Queenax offers something for everyone, helping to build up strength, power and core stability, aid co-ordination, and improve mobility, balance and flexibility in people of all ages and abilities.

It allows you to be as creative as the limits of your imagination in mid-air, with suspension training, support work and oscillation, as well as exercises for stretching and increasing mobility of the joints.

The first Queenax system was launched earlier this year by the Virgin Active Classic Health Club at their Gym of the Future in Aldergate, London, with a Queenax mini assault course likened to a ‘play den’ for grown-ups.
